Good ole' Holley Info Manual written in 1976. Gave a pretty detailed and surprisingly engineering-y description of how carbs work, and is going to get into more of the intricacies of tuning, etc. As a ME student and a guy whos done an alright amount of tuning of carbs in his life, it's still quite informative. And sadly, it's information that is dying out as less and less people these days need to know how to tune a carb, let alone how it works!

You still having those same issues? You ever swap the Edelbrock you have lying around onto it?

Different issues now, it's runs rich when the engine gets hot and the choke is fully open. I swapped the edelbrock on for a bit but didn't like it all that much.

So the choke wont close? Choke being open will certainly let more fuel past the butterflies and cause a rich condition.

Tune the float levels or put in smaller jets.
